This complementary event is aimed at bringing together business leaders in the greater Central Wisconsin Area to share the strategy and tools of Lean Six Sigma and their application within all types of businesses. Join us for presentations, discussions, and networking.
This symposium is the perfect event for business owners, executives, company leaders and practitioners of Lean Six Sigma to network, share, and learn practical ideas to improve your customers' experience, make better use of your company's resources, and simplify your work processes.
In the first two sessions, the presenters will demonstrate the practical use of Lean Six Sigma tools. These presentations will give attendees real world examples of how the Lean Six Sigma problem solving process can be applied in a variety of ways. Both of the presenters earned their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification through UWSP as a result of these projects!
In presentation #1, Emma will discuss her project focused on the entire recruitment process within the Human Resources Department at UWSP, from the initial job posting to the final steps leading up to onboarding.
In presentation #2, Carter will be talking through how they examined their sample analysis process and drastically reduced sample analysis turn around times at Borregaard, USA.
The third session, Christian, Scott and Chris will be fielding questions from the audience. They have so much to share from experiences with organizations large and small - all over the globe! These sessions have always been popular in years past, so whether you are new to Lean Six Sigma or have been practicing it for years, bring your questions and be ready to join the discussion.
In between sessions, there will be plenty of time for networking - so bring along your business cards!
